loved the tip! at first i couldn’t find the wrenchette cause when i cleaned i put away any weird tools. then i found it in a cute little plastic bag in the drawer. i already knew about the trigger switch. with one turn it was back to working. and i was about to call my bf…he probably woulda been p.o.’ed.

Don’t forget about 5th Avenue Cinema, which is free for PSU students (with ID), $2 for children, seniors, and students from other schools, and $3 for general admission. It’s open Friday and Saturday at 7pm and 9:30pm, and Sunday at 3pm.

Plus, you can bring your own food so you can save even more dollars.

Thanks for the sanity check, RD. $1,200 sounded high to me too, but with the fuel surcharges, I thought maybe…maybe…this was as good as it was going to get. I’ll check out Priceline too.

Did you try Northwest’s non-stop fare from PDX to Tokyo, then another national airline from there? 1200 sounds way too high, no matter the time of year. Orbitz? Priceline? There has to be a better price, at least to Japan!

It always amazes me to see others doing the same crazy things I am. Just last month I tried walking from the subway to my home for the same reasons you described. In my case, it’s a three mile walk! But what great exercise. I’m still trying to find a safer way to get there. Great article.
